Subscribe to the full TGI database and get access
to 19 sectors, 550+ product categories, 8000+ brands and 400+ attitude
statements and a host of built in segmentation tools. Or, you can
choice to only subscribe to certain sectors depending on your information
requirements. “Back data” can also be included, this
data goes back to 2003 and can be used for trending monitoring purposes.
Along with the TGI database you also get the Choice 3 software as
part of the package, installation for six users and trainer for
six users. Technical support is also available telephonically or
via email should you need it.
One main benefit of the TGI proposition is specially
developed suites of analysis software. These enable subscribers
to conduct powerful analyses for themselves, ranging from simple
cross-tabulations to complex multivariate segmentations. Whatever
the project, the software provides fast and flexible access to data.
In addition to the database, subscribing
clients also get a software package – Choices3 – that
enables them to research the database from their own computers.
This software has been specially developed by Kantar Media Research
[KMR] in the UK for use with TGI, and it includes very sophisticated
tools to maximise the benefits that clients can expect from the
database.
Apart from cross tabulations, these tools include:
• Correspondence and Cluster analyses
• Volumetrics and Averages
• Count Commands
• Ranking
• Media Report Viewer [including a genetic print optimiser]
• Media Neutral Quintiles
• Media Imperatives
• Health Zone segmentation
• Life Values
• Graph programmes and exporting to Excel, PowerPoint, Word
or e-mail.
At TGI, the support in the usage of data that we provide is as important
as the data itself. To ensure that clients derive maximum value
from the data, we provide industry-leading training and dedicated
client service.
Basic and advanced TGI Training is offered. Basic training is designed
for those new to TGI, or those who feel they haven’t yet fully
got to grips with the survey.

The three questions asked to explain the difference between vertical,

in answer box, cross-tab and reading data, highlighting index, creating
a target using or coding logic, alpha search, definition files,
spec files (creating an e-mail option), sorting data, analysis screen
and Private Eye ranking, exporting to Excel, graphing and saving
your graph as a template.
The advanced training covers:
Correspondence analysis, advanced alpha search,
loyalty analysis, Volumetrics and mean scores, count commands, trender
